Waldo Canyon Fire
This time lapse explains what I have been pre-occupied with the past week, as my home is in the pre-evacuation area, NW of the US Air Force Academy. The fire is now 25% contained, but still a threat to our area. 347 homes have been destroyed, and two lives lost thus far. Firefighters are the best kind of hero. Bless them all.

So glad you're ok. It's been a wild wild spring and summer. I was reading a book about firejumpers when the Ft Collins fire started - it's really given me a whole different view as more and more of the state is on fire.
