Maid Marian And The Lawman
by Deb Stover

Read first chapter here: https://debstover.com/maidmarian.html

"Robin Hoodwinked! A family in America's Old West struggles to survive in Deb Stover's jaunty homage to the denizens of Sherwood Forest." ~BookPage

"Deb Stover's ingenuity and cleverness soar in this heartwarming 'Robin Hood with a twist' story where family loyalty takes center stage. Ms Stover has proven her ability as a storyteller in paranormal venues and moves into historical romance with the same remarkable talents. Here is a story that makes readers believe in the power of family and love. Stolen Wishes proves that 'family' is not just blood ties, but also the love that binds people. Let yourself be held in the comfort of Deb Stover's 'feel-good' gem of a romance."
~Kathe Robin, RT Book Reviews,
Top Pick & Reviewers' Choice Award Winner

At thirteen, Mary Goode rescued her brother, Robin, and two of his friends from an asylum and escaped with them to Indian Territory. They make a simple home, and Robin creates his make-believe Sherwood Forest. To the delicate young woman dubbed Maid Marian, Robin's storybook fantasies seem a harmless game. But as eight years pass, Mary longs for more. And now, a stranger enters their secluded haven--a man with the power to shatter their safety or answer Mary's most passionate prayers. U.S. Marshal Shane Latimer is hard on the heels of robbers when a spooked horse and a snake bite lands him on his back, and in the middle of an eccentric band of forest dwellers. Though these gentle folk save his life and nurse him back to health, Shane has orders to bring the thieves to justice. But will knowing the truth mean choosing between duty and love?

Villains We Love to Hate!

What would make you sell your soul to the devil? Find out what makes a Natchez, Mississippi Detective do just that in Chapter 1 of THE BARGAIN. Special 99 cent sale in all e-book formats in January 2015 (also available in print at Amazon and Barnes & Noble at a higher price).

Once I met Slick Dawson, I had to finish this book, because this little monster would have haunted me the rest of my life if I hadn't. Find out why, and please share.

Something I learned early in my writing career is that the antagonist (villain) in a novel must be as multi-dimensional as the protagonists. In other words, he/she must be a worthy adversary with weaknesses along with strengths and goals, motivation & conflict.

http://www.debstover.com/thebargan.html

Who is your favorite villain and why? I hope you’ll take a moment to meet Slick if you haven’t already.

Happy reading, and may all your days include a bit of magic!

"Utilizing the same magic that made her historical/time travel novels such a delight, author Deb Stover brings emotional depth & passion to this terrific contemporary tale. As a writer, Deb Stover has a unique style & voice that are a pleasure to read in any genre."~Jill Smith

"Deb Stover writes with a stunning beauty and wry wit that resonates throughout all of her novels, but never so profoundly as with Mulligan Stew. Like the stew for which it is named, this novel offers something for everyone's taste in this artful blend of Irish contemporary romance, an ancient curse, a haunted castle, Gothic overtones and the struggle to reconcile the past with the present. Characters are vividly realized from the heroine who will kick another woman in the shins for hurting her child's feelings, to the hero who cannot forget the dead brother he loved so deeply. Stover creates a poignant tale of loss, healing and recreation that will linger long after the last page is turned. Yet another Stover novel to add your keeper shelf, Mulligan Stew earns the WordWeaving Award for Excellence." ~ Cindy Penn, WordWeaving

"Deb Stover has taken a delightful heroine, a tortured hero, a whispering castle, stirred in an ancient curse for spice and served up a deliciously rich, warm Irish stew."
~ Bestselling Author of the Shelter Bay series, JoAnn Ross

"Humor, passion and the warmth of family fill the pages of Mulligan Stew, drawing the reader into a magical place of possibilities and the wonderful healing power of love. Deb Stover has created a captivating tale grounded in the basic tenets of life... nothing is more powerful than family and the love of two hearts joined together. I highly recommend Mulligan Stew for a hearty dish of romance and passion."
~ Terrie Figueroa, Romance Reviews Today

"I read this book in a matter of hours. It drew me in from the prologue to the very last satisfying page. Not only was this book sensual from the get-go but the charming heroine with her Southern twang added just the right amount of comic relief when it was most needed. Add all this to a dark gothic-like castle with a curse attached to it, and you have a not to be put down, must read book!"
~ Kathy Boswell, The Best Reviews

"Author Deb Stover spiced up this romance novel with just a dash of magic. At times I felt as if the past and the present were one and the same. I found it delightful to see a strong modern heroine in the haunting setting of a Gothic tale, taming a stubborn man who fit the dark setting so well. Somehow the author was able to put it all together while showing the reader how breathtakingly beautiful Ireland really is. Highly recommended! Five stars!" ~ Huntress Book Reviews

“A recipe for romance--star-crossed lovers, a dark Irish castle, a witch’s curse, and a heaping helpin’ of destiny. Deb Stover cooks up a satisfying contemporary gothic-style romance, chock full of humor, passion, and mystery. Bon appétit."
~ Leslie Tramposch, PNR Reviews

Reviews for Another Dawn!

"Only a very talented writer can take a man sentenced to death and turn him into the kind of hero who is not only appealing, but one a reader can actually feel sympathy for. Deb Stover certainly manages to pull off such a hero, and with panache, in Another Dawn. This is an engaging read right from the start. There is emotion, sensuality, action, and intrigue. It packs a powerful anti-death-penalty message, but does so without the sermon. If you like your romance on the intense side with very real-to-life characters, then this may be the book for you."
~Rebecca Ekmark, All About Romance

"Deb Stover is an original and her time travel romances are unique, clever, intelligent, intriguing and romantic. ANOTHER DAWN is a thinking woman's paranormal romance with twists and turns, thought-provoking ideas and just the right balance of romance and time travel..." ~Kathe Robin RT Book Reviews, Top Pick and Nominated for a Reviewer's Choice Award!

"WOW!! ANOTHER DAWN is STUNNING! I wish I'd thought of it first." ~Maggie Shayne, best-selling author

"ANOTHER DAWN is a fantastic time travel romance that keeps the reader hopping and hoping for Luke and Sofie. Hot and spirited Ms. Stover does it again by opening the new year with what will be recognized as one of the top tales that will leave many other authors scampering to safer plots."  Five Stars!! ~Harriet Klausner, Affaire de Coeur

"Powerful, touching, and truly unique to the genre.  You haven't read time travel until you've read Deb Stover!"  ~Kristina Wright, The Literary Times

"Genius...  Five Stars!" ~Jim Trent, About.com

"Deb Stover has a dynamite book here, the best thing she's written yet. It's wonderful, it's practically flawless, and I'm truly in awe. I knew it when I first set eyes on it." ~Karen Harbaugh, award-winning author

"The time-travel genre belongs to Deb Stover! Nobody does it better! I couldn't put this book down." ~Maggie Osborne, best-selling author

"Another Dawn is gripping and wonderful." JoAnn Ross, New York Times best-selling author

"The intensity of Luke and Sofie's love, and the strength of their passion, transcends the bounds of Time itself. Their love was meant to be, and nothing can keep them apart, not in this time or in any other. The last two chapters, when their fate catches up to them at last, brought tears to my eyes." ~CompuServe

"Ms. Stover can, and does, make history and romance come forward or backward, and delivers an outstanding story of courage, faith, and timeless love. Fantastic! 5 Bells!!!" ~Donita Lawrence, Bell, Book and Candle

"The incredible Deb Stover has done it again. A man with no future. A woman with no past. A chance for love in a town called Redemption. This book will make you laugh out loud, and cry...and want to pick it up and  read it all over again. I loved this book, I loved the honorable, lovable and oh so wounded Luke and the feisty strong and so very wonderful Sofie. This book gets my vote for best book of the year!!" ~Terrie Figueroa, Romance Reviews Today

LOVE CAN BE JUST
A MATTER OF TIME...
Some things just can't be explained. Winnie Sinclair can't explain how she ended up in an Oklahoma thunderstorm making wild love to Paul Weathers, her ex-husband's divorce attorney. She certainly can't explain how that same storm just swept her back in time to 1896 Indian Territory--or how on earth she's supposed to get back.

Now she's just met a lean, sexy U.S. Marshal who looks exactly like Paul. But gone are the three-piece suits and the expensive haircut, replaced by a pair of Remingtons and a Stetson.
He calls himself Sam Weathers, claims he was murdered in cold blood...and his spirit has borrowed the body of his great-great-grandson to bring the killer to justice. So now Paul...and Sam...are both hot and bothered by a redhead named Winnie. Worse, she's kin to the man they're hunting.
One thing is certain: history will never be the same.
But love just might find its own place in time...
